I am not seeking to be the senator of District 17 to pose for pictures, attend ribbon-cutting ceremonies, or receive financial gain from public service. I have spent most of my adult life volunteering to make our community better. This is the next step in that service, and I am excited to work hard to earn your trust and confidence.
